By Noah Silomba Handball Association of Zambia (HAZ) has unveiled a new jersey for the women’s national team scheduled to travel to Conakry, Guinea for the Africa Junior Women Team Championship, slated between 17-27 February 2022. NATSAVE WINS INAUGURAL 2021 OYDC INTER COMPANY TOURNEY

It was a glamorous moment as eight teams turned up to compete for the 2021 OYDC Inter-Company Football and Netball tournament. The bankers NATSAVE bank reigned supreme by beating their competitor INVESTRUST bank 7-6 in a crucial match which ended in penalties. NATSAVE netball team also scooped the first position by beating INVESTRUST Bank. The teams walked away with trophies and assorted sports jerseys. All is set for 2021 Teulings grand finale as the Centre calls on media to submit for awards

The preparations for the 2021 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge grand finale at OYDC have reached an advanced stage. The date for the grand finale is 4 December where outstanding athletes, coaches, umpires, media and teams will be rewarded with trophies and medals. During Saturday games on 6 November 2021 teams in basketball, boxing, hockey, beach volleyball and teqball were competing in the semi-finals. National netball team set to travel to Namibia

Netball Zambia President Martha Sichone has paid gratitude to the OYDC Zambia management for accommodating netballers who are set to travel to Namibia for two competitions. The team is expected to leave for Namibia on Wednesday, 27 October 2021. OlympAfrica taekwondo athlete Luckson Tembo on Saturday 23 October flogged his opponent Wilson Malambo from Zed Lion in five seconds during the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge. Tembo could not believe that he won the fight in seconds using the “Bandae Yeop Chagi”.
