OYDC Zambia, Tuesday morning welcomed Hans Bertels the representative of Coen Teulings, Chairman of Merifin Capital in Belgium who is on a tour of duty. Coen Teulings is a sponsor of the youth league games dubbed Teulings Youth Sports Challenge which OYDC Zambia has been conducting since 2011. Baseball 5 launched at OYDC Zambia The Zambia Baseball and Softball Association (ZBSA) on Friday 22 April 2022 launched the sports discipline at the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development to add it to the other over 20 sports codes. Zambia settles for Bronze at Cana Zone IV Swimming Championship

It was a splendid colorful four days swimming competition which attracted 14 Countries. The 2022 CANA Zone IV Swimming Championship which was being hosted by Zambia at OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre has come to an end with neighbouring country Zimbabwe reigning supreme. Zimbabwe retained the title after scoring 2735 points combined team scores. Mozambique emerged second with 1987.50 points while hosts Zambia scored 1928 points to emerge third. OYDC to host judokas for Southern African Judo Confederation Championship

OYDC Zambia will be playing host for the upcoming Southern African Judo Confederation Championship slated for 23 April 2022. The Championship will attract three countries Botswana, Malawi and the host Zambia. Team Botswana has since arrived in the Country ahead of camping and training in preparation for the Championship. THE Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) Zone 6 and the Africa Zone VI Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (RADO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in their efforts to promote Olympic values and clean sport amongst athletes and Athletes Personnel (ASP) in the member countries. Two beach volleyball players dominate OYDC/Teulings games

Bridget Muyambano and Prisca Phiri on Saturday 9th April 2022 dominated the OYDC/Teulings games by beating their rivals 3-0. Beauty Ngungu and Beatrice Mwape could not stand the chance to score against their competitors who reigned supreme at the end of the games.
