Lusaka, Zambia Bluwood Handball Club played host to Zimbabwe’s Spartans Handball Club over the weekend in a series of friendly matches aimed at fostering the growth of handball beyond Zambia’s borders. The games, held at the OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre, featured participation from Lusaka Tigers Women (OYDC Handball Club), Bluwood Men and Women’s teams, and Spartans from Zimbabwe. Young talented athletes from the OYDC Zambia clubs won four medals at the National Youth Games Zambia 2024 which were staged in Ndola, Copperbelt from 4 to 6 December 2024. OYDC BOXER FLOGS OPPONENT WITH ASTONISHING SIZZLING PUNCHES Stanley Mulenga a boxer from the OYDC Zambia academy shocked his opponent Lameck Zimba from Green Buffaloes after flogging him on a split decision 3-2 at the ongoing National Youth Games in Ndola, Copperbelt. TEULINGS GAMES GET ANOTHER EXTENDED FUNDING Hans Bertels representative of Coen Teulings and Chairman of Merifin Capital in Belgium has announced the extension of funding to the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge for 2025.
