The OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre has welcomed several coaches from four countries who are at the sports facility to attend the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball – FIVB Level One course. Two young taekwondo players who had travelled to Senegal for a training camp have arrived back home. The two players Tukuza Maseko and Mathews Sichula arrived home today in the company of their coach Jathel Simwinga. Coach Simwinga says the training camp was intense and saw his players well-equipped with the necessary skills they needed to come and showcase back home. Muzala Samukonga qualifies for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Zambian sprinter Muzala Samukonga is the latest athlete to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after putting up a good performance at the Diamond League in Morocco. The event dubbed the Rabat/Marrakech Diamond League saw Samukonga clock 44.54s to emerge second in the 400m race. Two Zambian taekwondo players are on their way to Senegal for a ten-day Africa Taekwondo Union training camp organized by World Taekwondo. The two taekwondo players are Tukuza  Maseko and Mathews Sichula who have been accompanied by their coach Jathel Simwinga.
