Over 100 coaches and young leaders representing different sports organizations and teams on Saturday, 30th November, 2019 took part in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge mentorship workshop supported by Coen Teulings, Chairman of the Merifin Capital in Belgium. National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) president Alfred Foloko, has implored sports associations to engage people with disabilities in their sports activities. OYDC ZAMBIA SET TO HOST WORLD AIDS DAY SPORTS TOURNAMENT

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre will on Monday, 2nd December, 2019 commemorate this year’s World AIDS Day whose theme is “Communities make the difference”. The World AIDS Day is celebrated annually on 1st December.  Four football and eight hockey teams will be competing as part of the commemoration from 09:00 to 12:00 hours and top winners will be presented with jerseys and equipment. ZJA/IJF set to launch Judo for All

Zambia Judo Association through the International Judo Federation will be launching the “Judo for All” this Saturday, 30 November, 2019 at the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre. The launch of the “Judo for All” will actively engage athletes who have different body abilities. OYDC Zambia hosts 2019 Chinese Ambassadors International Table Tennis tourney

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre tomorrow will welcome five African countries which will be taking part in the 2019 Chinese Ambassadors International Table Tennis tournament. The countries are Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Zambia that will be battling it out. Zambia Table Tennis Association (ZTTA) president Mutale Ng’andu has confirmed that the tournament will run from 16-17 November, 2019 at the OYDC Zambia, stating that the Chinese ambassador has pumped in about US$5000 money to successfully host the tournament. Teulings Champions receive rewards

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre on Saturday 2nd November, 2019 successfully hosted the 9th edition of the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge Grand Finale which saw over 62 athletes being rewarded with trophies and medals. Zambia Army reign supreme

Zambia Army Women’s judo team are the champions of the 2019 “National Women’s Judo Cup” which was hosted at the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre on 26th October, 2019. OYDC CEO Dr. Chitangala launches “OYDC PEPFAR Small Grants Project”

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, has today officially launched the OYDC PEPFAR Small Grants HIV Prevention project and the Community Mobilization training which has attracted over forty youths.
