Zambia Women’s Volleyball National Team Concludes Training Camp at OYDC Ahead of Botswana Outing.

The Zambia Women’s Volleyball National Team held their final training session today at the OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre, where they have been in camp preparing for their upcoming trip to Botswana.

The team is set to participate in the second annual Ditsala International Cup, hosted by Bring It Promotions (BIP) in collaboration with the Botswana Volleyball Federation. The tournament will be held in Gaborone, Botswana, from May 29 to June 1, 2025.

Head Coach Arnold Simwezi expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress, noting that the players have responded well to training and have built strong team chemistry despite coming from different clubs.

“The target for this particular engagement is to reach the final. That would be a big plus for us, especially since we’ve been inactive for a while. Reaching the final will help us re-establish our presence in the region,” he said.
