OYDC Zambia Hosts 2025 1st Kyokushin Kenbukaikan World Karate Championship.

OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre is proud to host the 1st Kyokushin Kenbukaikan World Karate Championship, taking place from 24th to 25th October 2025.

The championship officially kicked off today, bringing together athletes, coaches, and officials from across the world to compete and share in the spirit of discipline, unity, and sportsmanship that defines karate.

Hosting this prestigious event marks another milestone for OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre, reinforcing its status as a leading venue for international sporting events and youth development initiatives.

The two-day championship features a range of activities, including competitive bouts, technical seminars, and referee training, all aimed at enhancing skills and fostering growth within the karate community.
