Feel at home, ZJA President Foloko urges foreign judokas

Zambia Judo Association president Alfred Foloko, who is also National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) president on Saturday 20 July, 2019 joined judokas from Malawi and Maheba Judo Refugee camp who were training at OYDC ahead of a competition on Sunday.

Foloko, the certified International Judo Federation (IJF) Instructor took the time to interact with judokas and urged them to feel at home stating that he is humbled that judokas travelled long distances to come and be part of the competition which shows that athletes have a passion for the sport of judo.

And president Foloko, showed athletes his judo skills and encouraged them to remain focused during training, camping and competition.

He was joined by IJF Academy Instructor Francis Moola Lipimile and Zambia Judo Association General Secretary Mabvuto Ng’uni. Others present were team managers for Malawi judo and coaches from Maheba Judo Refugee Camp.
