The Zambia Hockey Team arrived at the Olympic Park hockey pitch to take on Poland in high spirit and prayed for a win.
The U18 lads who have been training at the OYDC thrashed the Polish lads 4-3.
The team was in a state of jubilation as the game came to an end.
Team Coach samuel tagwireyi, expressed happiness that the boys beat Poland by scoring four goals.
Zambia will face Malaysia Tuesday afternoon at 16;15 Zambian time.
