Zambia Taekwondo’s Patson Ngoma Represents the Nation at COSATA Technical Seminar in Lesotho

Patson Ngoma recently took part in the COSATA Technical Seminar and Refresher Course, held in Maseru, Lesotho, from 11th to 13th September.

The seminar focused on sharpening officiating skills in taekwondo, with Ngoma gaining valuable insights into areas he had not fully mastered before. He highlighted key lessons such as:

Building confidence and assertiveness while officiating, improving communication skills and use of hand signals, Strengthening understanding of rules and regulations, Upholding fairness and impartiality in match officiating.

Upon his return, Ngoma formally presented his certificate of participation to OYDC Zambia’s Programs Manager, Mwange Kampamba, as a symbol of the centre’s continued commitment to developing technical expertise in sports.

Speaking after the course, Ngoma expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the knowledge gained will greatly enhance his role in officiating taekwondo matches both locally and internationally.
