OYDC Zambia Welcomes National Legal Aid Clinic for Women (NLACW) Workshop

The OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre is proud to announce that it is playing host to a month-long legal training workshop organized by the National Legal Aid Clinic for Women (NLACW). The workshop, which commenced today, June 2,2025, is being conducted at the OYDC facility and will run throughout the month of June.
Established in 1990, the NLACW has been at the forefront of promoting access to justice for women and children from marginalized and vulnerable communities. The initiative was created to provide affordable legal aid services to those who are often victims of social injustice and are unable to afford legal representation.

The workshop aims to equip participants with legal knowledge and tools to better support disadvantaged groups in their pursuit of justice. It also aligns with NLACW’s mission to empower women and children through legal awareness, advocacy, and professional legal services.
OYDC Zambia is honored to play host to such an important cause and to provide a conducive environment for learning and advocacy. The Centre reaffirms its commitment to being a hub not only for youth sports development but also for social empowerment initiatives that uplift communities.
