ATHLETES PREPARE FOR TEULINGS MID YEAR TOURNAMENT

OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre has organised the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge mid year tournament to be held on the 9 July 2022.

OYDC Zambia programmes manager Mwange Kampamba has disclosed that all the eleven sports disciplines will battle it out on that day adding that teams are ready for the event. She further disclosed that points to be accumulated by teams will be added to those which will be used for the grand finale at the end of the year.

She indicated that several school heads and national federations have been invited.

In addition, Kampamba said while the tournament will be happening several services such as health and education will be conducted to athletes through partners of the OYDC.

Meanwhile about 200 athletes yesterday turned up for the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge at the OYDC. The athletes in basketball and beach volleyball showcased their preparedness for the upcoming tourney.
