Coaches Align for Exciting 2026 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge SeasonLusaka, Zambia – 19 February 2026
Coaches convened ahead of the 2026 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge to strategize and align priorities for what promises to be an exciting and impactful season.
The meeting held today at OYDC Zambia was led by Programs Manager Mwange Kampambe, who emphasized the Centre’s commitment to enhancing athlete experience, increasing participation, and generating more success stories in the new season.During the meeting, coaches discussed practical approaches to strengthening athlete engagement, improving competition standards, and fostering an environment that supports both performance and personal growth.
The 2026 season aims to build on previous achievements while expanding opportunities for more young athletes to participate and thrive.A key focus of the discussions was the prioritization of Safe Sport. Ms. Kampambe highlighted the importance of safeguarding athletes and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful sporting environment. She further stressed the need for a clear and enforced Code of Conduct for all coaches and stakeholders to ensure professionalism, accountability, and athlete welfare remain central throughout the competition.
The 2026 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge officially commences on Saturday, 21st February 2026, with the official launch scheduled for 28th February 2026. The Centre anticipates a vibrant season that will showcase talent, discipline, teamwork, and the transformative power of sport.
