OYDC ZAMBIA ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF 2024 SPORTING SEASON

The OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre wishes to announce that the 2024 Sporting Season for the youths at the Centre which includes the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge will commence on Saturday 17^th February. 

OYDC Zambia Programmes Manager Mwange Kampamba has disclosed that athletes, teams, clubs and coaches can now start utilizing the sports facilities for training in their respective sports disciplines beginning Monday 12^th February. 

She urges all those who compete and train from the OYDC Zambia to be wary as the Country starts to record a reduction in Cholera cases which had necessitated the postponement of the 2024 Sporting season.

Furthermore, the OYDC Zambia wishes to reaffirm its commitment to help the Government in eradicating the spread of Cholera as management has put in place hand washing facilities in key places and stored enough running water for the ablution blocks. Patrons for the Centre are therefore advised to take advantage of our facilities and have their activities hosted in a clean and safe environment.
