OYDC FACILITIES IMPRESS MALAWI NOC PRESIDENT HON MHANGO

Malawi Olympic Committee president Hon Jappie Mhango has expressed happiness that Zambia has wonderful sporting facilities which should be supported and utilized by all sports associations in the country.

Touring OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre facilities on 12 February in the company of National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) president Alfred Foloko, Hon Mhango said African Countries should consider utilizing OYDC facilities to prepare athletes for regional and other major games.

He said OYDC is a pride of Africa and if left unsupported it would be difficult for management to make facilities available and host competitions.

The tour of facilities was led by OYDC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Dr Fredrick Chitangala and was witnessed by National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) Secretary General Boniface Kambikambi, Taekwondo Federation of Zambia president Likando Nangode, Zambia Tennis Association president Gibosn Phiri, Zambia Judo Association General Secretary Mabvuto Ngu’ni, celebrated Olympian Jonathan Chipalo, and representatives of different sports federations among others.
