OYDC Zambia Congratulates Mr. Chance Kabaghe and President Hakainde Hichilema on Their Prestigious Recognitions at the Man of the Year Awards.

OYDC Zambia proudly congratulates its Board Chairperson, Mr. Chance Kabaghe, and His Excellency, President Hakainde Hichilema, on their well-deserved recognition at the 2025 Zambian Man of the Year Awards.

OYDC Zambia extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Chance Kabaghe, who was honoured with the Man of the Decade Award in recognition of his outstanding leadership, integrity, and lifelong contribution to Zambia’s socio-economic development.

A distinguished leader, Mr. Kabaghe has had a remarkable career in both public and private sectors. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, where he played a pivotal role in advancing agricultural policy and food security initiatives.

He also served as the Executive Director of the Indaba Agricultural Policy Research Institute (IAPRI), where his work significantly influenced evidence-based agricultural policy reforms.

Beyond his public service, Mr. Kabaghe has held leadership positions in several corporate and development boards, promoting sound governance, innovation, and sustainable growth.

His dedication to empowering communities and supporting youth development continues to inspire OYDC Zambia and the Olympic family.

OYDC Zambia also congratulates His Excellency, President Hakainde Hichilema, who was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award and served as the Guest of Honour at this prestigious event.

OYDC Zambia further commends President Hichilema for his support in creating an enabling environment for sports to thrive in Zambia through the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Art. His continued call for equitable support to all sports codes, talent identification, development, and creative sports industry growth continues to enhance opportunities for Zambian athletes to excel both locally and internationally.
