Teulings tennis coach Kazembe lauds OYDC

Teulings Tennis players turned up in numbers at the Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) to participate in the U15 Teulings Youth Sport Challenge on Saturday, 29 September, 2018.

Teulings tennis coordinator Edgar Kazembe, disclosed that the players are eager to participate in the grand finale set for 27, October, 2018.

He added that the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge has in the last eight years helped in talent identification and shaping talent among athletes below the age of (15) years.

Kazembe, has applauded OYDC management for making the facility available by ensuring that the boys and girls continue to compete in league games.

“We appreciate what the Teulings Youth Sport Challenge is doing to many of the athletes who train from OYDC. This facility is good for talent identification and it is impressive to see a number of these children from communities coming to take up the sport of tennis. OYDC should be commended and supported for making these sport facilities available to not only sport associations but to the general public as well” he said.
