U20 athletes prepare for Colombia Championship

FOUR athletes are lodged at OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre in preparation for the U20 World Athletics Championship to be held in Cali, Colombia.

Zambia Athletics Assistant National team Coach Kezzias Nyendwa has disclosed that the three boys and one girl are in good shape and responding well to training.

Nyendwa says the Championship will be held from 1st to 6th August 2022 adding that all athletes are also part of the team that will represent Zambia at the Region 5 Games to be held in Malawi later in December.

The athletes are; Sitali Kanene (100m & 200m), Martin Mwauluka (800m), Joshua Mphanza (400m), and Blessings Miyoba (100m 200m). The athletes and their coach will be accompanied by their team manager Gamela Sikaleya.
