OYDC Zambia Joins the Nation in Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026

OYDC Zambia joined the rest of the country in celebrating International Women’s Day 2026. OYDC staff participated in the Women’s Day march past, which started from University of Zambia Great East Road Campus (UNZA) Goma Lakes and proceeded to the Lusaka Showgrounds for the official national celebrations.

The event was officially launched by the Republican President, Hakainde Hichilema, who underscored the important role women play in national development.

OYDC Zambia attaches great importance to the role women play in national development and is proud to join the nation in celebrating and honouring women for their contributions to society.
