Hockey team upbeat for Teulings grand finale

Springfield Hockey Team coach Kelvin Mbulo, has disclosed that the team is geared for this year’s Teulings Youth Sports Challenge grand finale which will be held in November at the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre.

Mbulo, says the team has been participating in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge since 2011 and is happy that part of the players who are in the national team are a product of Springfield.

He disclosed this after the team participated in the Teulings Hockey League which the OYDC Zambia, organized on Saturday, 21 September, 2019.

And Springfield Hockey team player Esau Kaira, has expressed confidence that his team will during the grand finale reign supreme looking at the team’s recent performance in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge.

The Teulings Youth Sports Challenge is a well organized league which involves five sports disciplines hockey, netball, swimming, taekwondo, and beach volleyball and targets young talented athletes below the age of 17 years and is supported by Coen Teulings, Chairman of the Merifin Capital in Belgium.
