Over 300 Teulings athletes undergo health screening

Over 300 athletes who on Saturday 29 July, 2019 came to participate in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge were screened by health personnel.

The athletes underwent ear, nose and throat screening before games commenced. 

OYDC CEO, Dr. Fredrick Chitangala, disclosed that the screening was also extended to other athletes who had come to access the facility stating that the centre engages different health specialists to ensure that athletes are in good health as they prepare to compete in various games.

OYDC, hosted the Teulings netball and hockey league games which saw a number of teams coming to compete.

Netball saw Chazanga, OlympAfrica, Northpark, Chawama, battling it out while in hockey Zambezi, DE Stars, Lusaka Sharks and Springfield competed to get more points to top the log standing.
