OYDC READY TO HOST JUDOKAS FROM THREE NATIONS AHEAD OF COMPETITION

FOUR countries are set to have their Judokas take part in the upcoming training camp and competition to be held at OYDC Zambia.

The countries Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia the hosts will have athletes getting into camp between 27 to 30 June 2022. The competition after the training camp will be conducted from 1 to 2 July at the Dojo Hall within the OYDC facilities.

The Southern Africa Judo Confederation in partnership with Zambia Judo Association have organised the camping and competition.

Meanwhile, OYDC Zambia Chief Executive Officer Dr Fredrick Chitangala says the hosting of such a prestigious competition should inspire other sports associations both local and international to make use of these facilities for their events.

He says the centre is always ready to host similar competitions.
