OYDC thrash Olympiafrica 18-9 in 5×5 basketball
OYDC Zambia basketball team shocked team Olympiafrica with a 18-9 win during the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge.
Team Olympiafrica could not stand the defense exhibited by OYDC which saw them lose the game.
Nancy Kasonde a young basketball player helped OYDC to score 10 baskets and subsequently emerged top scorer of the game.
Jubilation was shown by supporters of Kasonde as she attributed her scoring skills to the secret blind pass her and teamates had during the game.
Meanwhile, athletes in beach volleyball and handball took it to the fields to compete with other teams who came.
A total of 230 athletes came to the OYDC Zambia to battle it with handball having ten clubs while beach volleyball had five clubs.
