Preps for Teulings awards ceremony progressing well
OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre will on Saturday 26 November host the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge awards ceremony.


On Saturday 19 November all Teulings league games were concluded and athletes, coaches, umpires and media will wait to be rewarded during the ceremony which is expected to be graced by the Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Hon. Elvis Nkandu MP. The ceremony will also see representatives from the Teulings Foundation Hans Bertels, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ), and the National Sports Federation.


The ceremony will mark the close of the 2022 Teulings youth league games and resume in 2023.
OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre has been hosting the Teulings youth games since 2011 and is supported by Coen Teulings Chairman of the Merifin Capital in Belgium.


Several young athletes below the age of 17 have greatly benefited from the league which is a household name in Zambia. A notable number of athletes from the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge have been selected to play for different national teams and subsequently participated in major competitions such as the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
