TWO ZAMBIAN TAEKWONDO PLAYERS BACK HOME FROM TRAINING CAMP IN SENEGAL

Two young taekwondo players who had travelled to Senegal for a training camp have arrived back home.

The two players Tukuza Maseko and Mathews Sichula arrived home today in the company of their coach Jathel Simwinga.

Coach Simwinga says the training camp was intense and saw his players well-equipped with the necessary skills they needed to come and showcase back home.

Simwinga says the ten-day Africa Taekwondo training camp was organised by World Taekwondo adding that ten countries were represented.

One of the players who was part of the camp is a product of the OYDC Zambia and has been part of the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge which the sports facility organises.

Meanwhile, Simwinga has expressed gratitude to the National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) who had facilitated the travel of the athletes to Senegal to be part of this youthful training camp.
