Zambia records first medal

Bunty Howard (Equestrian), gets bronze medal in the jump international team event in the second round of the competition finishing the jumps with a time of 78.90 to help team Africa come out 3rd at the ongoing 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games being staged in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Countries that made up her team include; Mauritius, Egypt, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

When asked how she felt after getting “Bronze” Howard said she is super excited and hopes to get Gold when she begins her individual jumps.

She applauded everyone who has been supporting her and has promised not to disappoint the nation.

Howard, will begin her individual jumps on the 12 and 13.
