BEACH VOLLEYBALL PLAYER BEAUTY CHISHIMBA OUTSHINES OPPONENTS FOR FOUR CONSECUTIVE WEEKS

Beach Volleyball player Beauty Chishimba has outshined her opponents in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge for the fourth time in a roll.

Chishimba as of Saturdays Teulings games bagged six points and attributed her winning style to constant training and dedication when it comes to competition day.

“I am always training here and I make sure to remain focused whenever we have Teulings games at OYDC” she said.

She added “I hope to continue with the same spirit so that my friend close to me should not surpass my points”.

And her closer rival Beatrice Mwape who scored 4 points says her friend Chishimba is a good player and has continued to inspire her fellow athletes to put in more efforts when it comes to competition.

Other athletes who showcased their good skills include Tionge Nyirenda, Mapalo Mvula, Meebelo Litata, Natasha Nalwamba and in the boys category Donald Chanda , Steven Lungu, Obama Musengo and Grayum Mutaya.

Beach volleyball is among other four sports disciplines OYDC Zambia hosted on 4 June 2022. The games were also played in judo, hockey and basketball. Over 300 talented athletes were at the Centre to compete in their respective sports codes.
