OYDC hosts president Edgar Lungu

The OYDC this morning hosted president H.E President Edgar C. Lungu, who came to launch the 2019 Health Week organised by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development.

The president was received by cabinet ministers, permanent secretaries, state house officials and other senior government officials.

Upon arriving at the OYDC, the president was presented with a judo muscot from the International Judo Federation (IJF) and it was handed to him by National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) president Alfred Foloko, who is also Zambia Judo Association (ZJA) president.

While at OYDC, president Lungu, took the time to tour various health and Sports stands currently exhibiting at the multsports facility.

The president further participated in aerobics, relay and penalty shoot out.

The National Health Week which started on Monday will come to a close on 11 May, 2019.
