Simon Zulu crowned 2018 best judoka of the year Zambia

Gold medalist judoka, Simon Zulu, who trains from the OYDC was on Friday 18th January, 2019 crowned as the “2018 Best Judoka of the Year” during the Zambia Police Service Annual Sports Awards.

Zulu, who is a Podium Performance Programme (PPP) athlete thanked his coach Francis Limipile, Zambia Judo, for having supported him during the year 2018.

Zulu, added that he was happy that he was announced winner of the 2018 Best Judoka of the Year award which he says he never saw it coming. Meanwhile, Zulu was last year nominated in the 2018 “National Sports Awards’ to be held in January, 2019.

The awards are being organised by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development.
