Teulings Girls impress coordinator

Over 200 young hockey players on Saturday thronged the OYDC to participate in the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge.

Teulings Hockey Coordinator Elvis Lvee Bwalya, disclosed that the participation of girls in the youthful league games has continued to increase adding that some of the teams which took part for both girls and boys are; DE Stars, Zambezi, Hotspurs, Springfields, Lusaka Sharks, and Tigers.
Bwalya, mentioned the girls team Zambezi, which has seen great improvement with numbers and good performance on the pitch.

The players also took the time to attend a session of Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) conducted by Richard Mulenga, OYDC Young Leaders Coordinator.

The Teulings Youth Sports Challenge for the year 2019 will come to a close in October, when a colorful grand finale will be hosted where top deserving athletes, umpires, coaches and teams will be rewarded with trophies and medals.
